Job Description

• Provide direct nursing care to patients under the supervision of an RN or physician

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and monitor vital signs

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed (PO, IM, SQ, IV where permitted)

• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, feeding, and mobility

• Observe and report changes in patient condition to the healthcare team

• Document patient care accurately in EMR systems

• Assist with wound care, catheter care, and specimen collection

• Support physicians and RNs during examinations and procedures

• Educate patients and families on care plans, medications, and health management

• Maintain infection control standards and patient safety protocols

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure quality patient care
